Harry Redknapp predicting the Premier League

The 2020-21 season of the Premier League is presenting one of the most unpredictable title challenges in recent memory and right now, all the top-four sides have a realistic chance of winning the crown by summer.

Man City currently sit at the top of the table with 47 points and according to former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp, it’s either City or Liverpool who are likely to end up as champions in the coming months.

Speaking in an interview, he said, as quoted by Metro: “Top four? Manchester City or Liverpool [will win it].

“I suppose Manchester City are favourites. I was with Liverpool but I think Manchester City probably. There’s two runners Man City and Liverpool and then Manchester United and Tottenham.

“I do like Leicester, Brendan Rodgers has done a fantastic job there.

“They’re the team that could break into it and Chelsea have good players but I’m sticking with Manchester United and Tottenham as third and fourth.”

Man City are also the bookmakers’ favourites to lift the Premier League title more so now since Liverpool have lost considerable ground in their title defence after their shocking 1-0 loss to Brighton at Anfield in midweek.

The draw means Liverpool are now seven points behind leaders Manchester City and this weekend they take on Guardiola’s men in the Premier League.

If the Anfield outfit fail to win this encounter as well then there’s no way they are going to defend their title this time around.

And as far as Manchester United are concerned, the Red Devils have done really well to come this far but Ole’s men just do not have the experience to make that key final push.

Spurs look all set to finish in the top-four and play in the Champions League next season but like Man United, we don’t see Jose Mourinho’s men making any more progress.
