Man United are flying high after beating Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge on Monday but next up they welcome Liverpool at home in the Premier League.

After losing 2-0 to PSG in the Champions League last week, everyone was eager to see how Solskjaer’s men would respond. And they certainly did not disappoint.

Man United beat the Blues 2-0 courtesy of goals from Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera which means that Solskjaer is yet to taste defeat domestically.

But all that can change this weekend against Liverpool especially since Man United will be up against one of the best attacking sides in European football right now.

Ashley Young though feels that Man United can overcome the Liverpool challenge since they can still up their game.

“Very good to get the win away and the way we did,” the Man United captain Young said.

“We knew Chelsea’s weaknesses and we knew how we wanted to play the game and I think we did that superbly well from the start until the end and it was magnificent and I think we had another gear to go.

“That says a lot about us bouncing back from midweek and getting a result here.

“It gives us all massive belief,

“Obviously you will get confidence from winning games and that’s exactly what we have done (at Chelsea).

“We beat Spurs away, and Arsenal away and now Chelsea away.

“We knew it would be tough, we had to be on the front foot and we knew we would have to defend but it’s a fantastic result for us.”

A win for Man United would help them retain their fourth spot on the league table while a loss for Liverpool would mean that Man City might remain at the top of the table until the next matchday.
