Pellegrini West Ham United Premier League
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini

West Ham United are officially the worst club in the Premier League right now – let’s just start with that.

The Hammers have lost each and every game that they have played this season in the league going down to giants like Liverpool and Arsenal and also losing to smaller sides such as Wolves and Bournemouth.

Their only win so far this season was against a 10-man Wimbledon side in the Football League Cup and now everyone is after Manuel Pellegrini’s blood.

Bookmakers and fans alike have put Pellegrini at the top of the podium as the first manager to be sacked this season.

But recent reports have revealed that despite the string of bad results, West Ham United have decided to back their manager and are not planning to sack Manuel Pellegrini right now.

But if a report from the Times is anything to go by then we might understand why the Hammers hierarchy do not want to sack the former City boss.

As per the report, if the London outfit sack Manuel Pellegrini then they will have to compensate him £15million which in no ways is a small amount.

The report also states that the club have been unable to maintain their control over their manager as the Chilean has decided to embark on a holiday during the international break despite the sorry state of his team.

We are not yet sure if this holiday was pre-planned but what we do know is that Manuel Pellegrini has a win-win situation in almost every scenario. Now the onus is up to the Hammers management to sack their boss.
