The 2018-19 Premier League has not yet started and already there are talks about manager sacking.
A number of the top Premier League sides have brought in a new manager but it seems that the current bunch of managers are not very safe when it comes to keeping their jobs.
During the past 48 hours, a number of people have started thinking that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho might be the first manager who will be shown the door.
Mourinho recently lashed out at his team as well as the management after United’s embarrassing defeat at the hands of Liverpool in a pre-season friendly. And the manager’s rant has not gone down too well with the players as well as the fans.
Before the Liverpool game the odds of Jose Mourinho being sacked as the manager of Manchester United were 14/1 but after the defeat, those very same odds have plummeted to just 5/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Mourinho has not covered himself in glory with Manchester United’s tour of the USA, with the 55-year-old claiming that it’s ‘not his squad.’
“The negativity is just one of an array of factors that Manchester United fans are not happy with – and that despondency has crept into punters thoughts ahead of the 18/19 season.

“In total, 82 per cent of all bets in the last 24 hours have been placed on Mourinho leaving before any other gaffer, making Jose the clear and standout favourite to be the first on the manager merry-go-round.”
Mourinho’s primary target was supposed to be the Man United hierarchy for the failure to bring his desired signings but in the process of attacking the management, the Portuguese seems to have rubbed his whole squad in the wrong way.
History has it that Jose Mourinho’s third season at any club ends on a sour note and it seems that history is all set to repeat itself at Old Trafford.
United play the first game of the new Premier League season on the 10th of August when they take on Leicester City at Old Trafford.
