Jose Mourinho Spurs Premier League

Jose Mourinho might be a man on a mission this season with Manchester United but it seems that the Portuguese has not started the summer on the right note.

After finishing second in the Premier League table during the 2017-18 season, the United’s boss’ next big task was to get close to rivals Manchester City and possibly challenge them for the title.

And in order for that to happen, the boss needed to make a couple of high profile signings during the summer transfer window. But the Red Devils are currently miles away from that goals.

And this failure by the United hierarchy has turned Jose Mourinho a bit sour which is rubbing onto his whole squad.

According to a source, the United players are not happy with Jose Mourinho’s behaviour during the US Tour and many of them are wary of going into the wrong books of the manager.

A source told SportsMail: ‘Jose’s mood is dragging the whole tour down,’

‘He’s clearly not happy with Ed Woodward and everyone else is suffering because of it.’

And the harsh comments that the Portuguese spurted out about Anthony Martial and Antonio Valencia have not gone down too well with the United fans and some of them are asking the man to be sacked even before the new season has kicked off.

Man United play Real Madrid in their final pre-season friendly in the United States after which they travel back to England and kick off the new Premier League season against Leicester City on the 10th of August.
