Looks like Arsenal are already making plans for the upcoming summer transfer window and Ismaila Sarr might be the first player to come in.

Unai Emery is expected to bring in a number of new players at the end of the season and while like every other top manager, the Spaniard too would want to sign some stars but his transfer budget might not allow him that.

According to reports, Arsenal will provide only 50 million pounds to Emery during the transfer window which clearly means the manager will have to look for cheaper options.

And right now the player on the radar is Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr.

Ismaila Sarr featured for Rennes’s 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League a couple of weeks ago and reports have it that the Gunners made contact with the player immediately after that game.

Sven Mislintat was the man who wanted to sign Sarr for Arsenal but now that the talent spotter has left the Gunners many had doubts whether Arsenal would go ahead with the move.

But it seems the Champions League performance has convinced the London outfit and they will go ahead with the transfer.

The 21-year-old has been in fine form for Rennes this season scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in 38 games for the Ligue 1 club.

According to TransferMarkt, Ismaila Sarri is currently valued at 27 million euros which given the kind of form that he has shown this campaign would be nothing short of a bargain deal.

But we doubt whether Rennes will let the winger leave for such cheap a price especially since he still has three years left on his current deal at the club.
