Jack Grealish has been linked with a move to Manchester United for almost all of this season but United have always been sceptical about spending so much money on the playmaker.
Villa have valued Jack Grealish at £80 million which is a massive amount considering that Man United also want to bring in Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. And maybe this is why they are waiting for the current Premier League season to end since Aston Villa might drop their asking price if they are relegated to the Championship.
Now as per a report, Villa have no plans of giving a discount and want the same amount even if they are demoted.
Sports Mole are reporting: “Aston Villa have reportedly made it clear that they will not be lowering their £80m valuation of Jack Grealish even if they are relegated from the Premier League.
“Manchester United continue to be linked with the Englishman and had reportedly hoped that the attacker’s price would drop to £50m if Smith’s side were relegated.”
Man United finally make a decision regarding Jack Grealish:
This news was a huge problem for Manchester United and some experts have even claimed that the Old Trafford outfit might pull out of the race to sign the playmaker due to Villa’s high demands.
Now as per the Express, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally made up his mind and is willing to make a move for both Sancho and Jack Grealish come what may.
Express claim: “Manchester United boss Solskjaer is hoping to quicken his Old Trafford rebuilding job when the transfer window reopens this summer. The Red Devils have seen Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes all impressed since their arrivals at the club.
“And, now, United are hoping to sign both Grealish and Sancho as they eye the Premier League title next season.”
If Paul Pogba stays, Man United might not have made a move for Jack Grealish but now it looks like Solskjaer will be pursuing the 24-year-old no matter what the future holds of their World Cup winner.
This might be great news for all the fans since Grealish has been one of the best playmakers in the Premier League this season and he can work wonders in partnership with Bruno Fernandes. But if he was to join Old Trafford then players like Paul Pogba and Angel Gomes might look to move out of the club.
