Jadon Sancho wanted by Man United
Jadon Sancho is one of the players who is expected to make a move back to the Premier League this summer

Man United are reportedly pretty close to signing Borussia Dortmund’s young sensation Jadon Sancho – according to various major tabloids.

The player has been Manchester United’s most sought-after transfer targets this season and it’s no secret the Red Devils will do anything to get him on-board during the summer transfer window.

Jadon Sancho too has made his love for Man United pretty clear but now according to reporter James Cooper, there’s still a degree of uncertainty over the transfer.

He wrote for Sky Sports: “Jadon Sancho is a perfect example of the unknowns of the next window.

“He’s young and exciting and a primary target for Solskjaer, but while a fee approaching £100m might have been something United looked at with interest, no one knows how valuations and transfer agreements are going to be structured in the wake of the lockdown.

“It’s been suggested to me we may see an increase in player swaps between clubs and while recruitment is an essential part of a club’s growth and development, any initial transfer window rush could be delayed until clubs have done their sums and worked out what they can spend and the value of what they’ve already got.”

Cooper is absolutely right since no one really knows how the pandemic will affect the transfer market this summer and also in the coming few years.

There’s a possibility that Man United might pull the plug on the Jadon Sancho transfer since he’s too expensive but there’s also a chance that BVB choose to lower their asking price given every other team in Europe is badly in need of finances.

It still remains to be seen how the whole situation pans over over the next couple of months but one thing’s for certain – that Man United are not going to give up without a proper fight.

Also, it’s not like the Old Trafford outfit are the only club interested in signing Jadon Sancho this summer. So if Solskjaer was to back out, some other club, namely Chelsea will come and swoop him up.

Sancho has so far played in 23 Bundesliga games for Dortmund in the 2019-20 season and has managed to score 14 goals along with 16 assists.
