Joao Felix made his international debut for Portugal this week vs Switzerland but the youngster failed to make any sort of impression during his time on the pitch.

But this average display has done very little to dent his worth in the transfer market this season.

Joao Felix has caught the eye of every major European club after a fine 2018-19 season scoring 20 goals and making 11 assists for Benfica.

It is more or less certain that Benfica will be cashing in on the 19-year-old this summer and now the only point of debate is which club will he join.

A number of top European clubs have shown interest in signing Joao Felix but right now three clubs(Man City, Real Madrid and Man United) are said to be favourites to land the youngster.

Reports suggest that Man City have made an offer of around €120 million for Felix which one would imagine should be more than enough to secure a deal for the 19-year-old.

Having said that though, other reports have gone on to claim that both Man United and Real Madrid have offered the same amount for the services of Joao Felix.

This obviously puts all the clubs back on the same podium but Manchester City have reportedly agreed to pay the agent’s commissions which means Pep Guardiola’s side have a slight advantage.

If City do manage to sign Joao Felix then surely it will be a big blow for Man United who are desperately looking to bring in a new striker after Romelu Lukaku’s failure to shine at the club.

Some reports have also claimed that Lukaku could be heading to Inter Milan during the summer which makes the transfer of Joao Felix even more important.

And right now the only way that United can beat their local rivals in the transfer of Joao Felix is by offering the teenager a bigger salary.
