Jose Mourinho Tottenham take on Chelsea

Chelsea have appointed former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri as their new boss a couple of weeks ago and the Blues fans are hoping that the Italian can bring his brand of attacking football to the club.

Ever since Sarri was given charge of Stamford Bridge a number of his counterparts have talked about the manager – both good and bad. But currently, Man United manager Jose Mourinho had not yet made a comment about Chelsea’s yet another boss.

Now though the Portuguese has revealed his thoughts about Maurizio Sarri and the former Chelsea boss chose to be very politically correct with his words – rather than being his usual self.

Talking about Maurizio Sarri, Mourinho said“I don’t know him,

“When I was in Italy from 2008-10, he was not in Serie A. I never met him or played against him. I just follow football and lately the good work he did with Napoli.

“In England, all the good managers have the desire to come. It’s a crazy competition with a high level so I think every manager has the dream to come so he had the chance to come.

“He has a fantastic team, fantastic players and squad – I think he has conditions to do good work”

Mourinho recently lashed out at his players and the Man United board for their failure to deliver during the summer transfer window which has let many people believe that the Portuguese has soured his relationship with the squad and might soon be on his way out of Old Trafford.

Maurizio Sarri, on the other hand, has got off his Chelsea regime to a decent start but after the penalty shoot-out loss to Arsenal, fans have been urging the new boss to bring in a decent back-up to Alvaro Morata who looked incapable of handling all the pressure up front.
