Jose Mourinho Spurs Premier League

Jose Mourinho is without a doubt one of the most candid pundits in European football right now.

The former Man United manager has been without a job ever since the Red Devils sacked him and while he has claimed that he wishes to get back into management during the summer.

But right now he is indulging in tearing apart teams in his pre and post-match analysis during the Champions League.

And after Ajax bottled it against Tottenham in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals this week, Jose Mourinho uttered these famous lines.

“They[Ajax] will watch the final on TV with their philosophy.”

Now that Spurs will face Liverpool in the Champions League final at Madrid, Jose Mourinho has given his prediction for the eagerly awaited game.

“I think a very good quality for a manager is to read the battle, to read your soldiers and their qualities and to try to win that battle,” Jose Mourinho said.

“Football is to have fun, football is to make people jump in front of the screen like the last two days, but football is about winning. Football is about winning.

“To speak about football, I will be in trouble in the final because I like Mauricio and Jurgen very, very much and I think they both deserve to win a trophy.

“The first trophy for Jurgen with Liverpool, the first trophy for Mauricio with Spurs and I think it will be a fantastic final.

“I just hope Liverpool and Spurs fans enjoy Madrid, behave amazingly well and give to football the same thing that both teams are giving.”
