Jose Mourinho Spurs Premier League

Manchester United have finally got back to winning ways after suffering to back to back defeats in the Premier League.

The Red Devils started the new season with a win over Leicester City but then suffered two embarrassing defeats to Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.

This week though they turned around the tables and beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor.

Romelu Lukaku scored both the goals for Jose Mourinho’s side but the team should have scored atleast four goals if Pogba hadn’t missed a penalty and Romelu Lukaku hadn’t failed to put the ball in the back of an empty net.

All in all, this was a comfortable victory for United but what happened after the game has gotten the tongues wagging.

As soon as the match ended, Jose Mourinho decided to walk down to the travelling away section and then walked in amongst the fans to hand over his jacket to a lucky one.

Here’s the video:

But this is Jose Mourinho we are talking about so anything that he does will have controversies written all around it.

So does this gesture.

After this video was posted on the internet a large section of the fans have come out to applaud the manager but on the other hand a number of fans think of this as a clever plan from Jose to bring the fans on his side – more so when the management seems to have distanced himself from the boss.

And just to put this all into context the Manchester United fans flew a banner over Turf Moor on Sunday which was directed at Ed Woodward branding him as a specialist in failure.
