Liverpool have made a wonderful start to the new Premier League season winning their first five games which puts them second on the table on the basis of goal difference.

But now Jurgen Klopp’s side are set to face their first big task of the new season as they welcome PSG to Anfield this midweek.

Liverpool will take on the French giants in the opening group stage match of the UEFA Champions League and Jurgen Klopp could be in some serious trouble.

While everyone is keeping a close eye on the Liverpool defence and how they fare against the multi-million dollar PSG attack but Jurgen Klopp has some issues that he needs to solve on the other end of the pitch.

Roberto Firmino suffered an eye injury during the Spurs match at Wembley this weekend and the Brazilian will undergo a late fitness test before the PSG game.

If Firmino is deemed fit then everything will go on as usual but if the forward is ruled out then Jurgen Klopp could be in for some trouble.

If Roberto Firmino misses the game then Liverpool will have only one fit striker in the form of Daniel Sturridge.

Apart from Sturridge, Liverpool have Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke both of which are out injured.

While Origi has been recovering from an ankle injury, Dominic Solanke also has a similar knock.

Jurgen Klopp said after the Spurs win that Roberto Firmino should be fine but the medical team will surely not allow him to take the pitch even if there is a slight doubt in which case the manager could have his work cut out during the PSG game.
