Rangers FC picked up their second win of the season beating Dundee 4-0 at home this weekend.

The Light Blues saw goals from the likes of Lassana Coulibaly, James Tavernier and Glenn Middleton but Steven Gerrard will be hugely happy that Ryan Kent got amongst the goals against Dundee.

Kent scored the second goal of the game in the 14th minute and the young loanee is supremely happy with the fact that he has been able to score his first goal for the Ibrox outfit.

And talking to the media, Ryan Kent has revealed what Steven Gerrard told him about his lack of goals.

Ryan Kent said“The fans have been really good to me here, I can’t fault them, they have always been supportive of me. I know myself that I need to add goals to my game. But the gaffer has told me not to worry about it.

“He said I just need to focus on my own performances and that my performances have been good up to now.”

Ryan Kent arrived from Liverpool during the summer on a one-year loan deal and the 21-year-old has already made himself a regular under Steven Gerrard.

Rangers play their first game of the Europa League group stages this week when they take on Villareal in Spain and Ryan Kent will surely be one of the first names on the team sheet.
