Liverpool will take on Newcastle United at home in midweek and it is no secret that Rafa Benitez will set up a defensive team.

The Toons are sitting 15th on a league table and their boss will do everything in order to deny Liverpool an easy win.

And when we say everything we mean setting up a five-man defensive wall and playing deep.

Talking before the match, Liverpool manager has revealed how exactly will he overcome Rafa Benitez’s game plans.

“We need to stay angry, to stay greedy, that is what we need to do against Newcastle,” Jurgen Klopp said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.

“It will be the third time in a row we will be up against a back five. ‘

“Rafa can organise a defence really well, not so cool [for us] but good for him. “But we will try [to break it down].

“I don’t know too much about Newcastle, although I know people are not happy with the amount they are spending,

“Newcastle give us a lot to think about, the crosses with Rondon in the box.

“We are really thinking about Newcastle now, then we can sleep twice and Arsenal stand in front of us.”

A win for Jurgen Klopp’s men would mean that the Reds would maintain their four-point gap at the top of the Premier League table and they might also extend that gap if Man City slip up against Leicester City.
