Liverpool take on Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend and most pundits are giving Jurgen Klopp men the edge on Sunday.

A couple of months ago, the outcome of this match would have been pretty easy to predict but the way that Man United have been performing under Solskjaer no one is really ready to chalk out Jurgen Klopp’s men as the outright favourites.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have suffered only a single defeat in the Premier League this season but Manchester United are yet to lose a domestic game ever since the Norwegian took charge of the club.

While Liverpool still remain favourites for many to end their barren run of trophies but Jurgen Klopp has now come out to say that his team are not in the driver’s seat to win the Premier League title.

Here’s why.

Klopp said: “People want guarantees as early as possible but nobody can give that.

“At the moment it feels as though City have an advantage because it’s City, Tottenham have an advantage because they are behind and can chase from behind, and we are not at an advantage – and we have to play at United.

“That’s how people see it. But absolutely no decision will be made this weekend or next weekend.

“That’s what we have created, a basis that we can fight until the end for the league title.”

“Expectations at Liverpool will always be really high. There’s no reason why people should not have high expectations.

“Clearly they can dream – we dream but we don’t dream during a season. We have to work for it. There are nice little moments where you think it could work out, but you know it will stay tough until the end.

“That’s how it always was. The only big difference now is that we are really in the race. That’s what is really positive. All the things are positive.”
