After Arsenal’s loss to Liverpool, Mikel Arteta had complained about a tight and tiring schedule and Jurgen Klopp has wasted no time at giving a candid reply to his compatriot.

Arteta has lashed out at the authorities saying that Arsenal have always been the victim of a fixture mess – hinting that the Gunners lost to Liverpool because of playing too many games in quick succession.

“Thank you so much to the Premier League for doing that,” Arteta told reporters, as quoted.

“And they’ve done it again when we have to play Chelsea and Manchester United. So if they want to give them any advantage, I say to them today: ‘Thank you so much for doing that’.

“No [the Premier League wouldn’t change the schedule]. It is always it’s BT, it’s Sky, it is this, it’s that. But the one that is affected is Arsenal and the only thing that I care [about] and we care [about] is Arsenal. And for Arsenal it is not fair.”

What did Jurgen Klopp say in reply?

Jurgen Klopp was asked to comment on the hectic schedule that teams are facing this season and the Liverpool boss very confidently admitted that they don’t complain about such things.

“I think we had six games more than Arsenal [since the Carabao Cup semi-final], you can see that as well,” he said. “We constantly travel, we go here, we go there, we are in the hotel and stuff like this. Since we met last time we had six games more than them I think, 13 and seven if I am right.

“13 games is really mad and it will not stop. Actually, I don’t complain, we don’t complain, it’s just how it is.

“We wake up in a different hotel and somebody tells you where the restaurant is and you try to remember the number of your room, that’s our life in the moment.”

Arsenal have played 11 games in 2022 whereas Liverpool have played five games in March alone so the last thing Mikel Arteta should do is whine about a tough schedule.

Liverpool have been playing a lot of games in the previous few weeks but he’s being massively hypocritical when he says that he doesn’t grumble about such things.

The German is someone who doesn’t give up even a single opportunity to whine about issues and in the past, he has complained about the weather and even the pitch(when Liverpool have lost).

Below is an interview of Jurgen Klopp from last year where he can be seen complaining about Liverpool’s schedule and injuries.

Liverpool won the match and that’s the only reason why Jurgen Klopp chose not to ramble but had the result gone in favour of Arsenal we are sure that it would have been Klopp who would have made such comments.
