Liverpool and Spurs face off in the Champions League final next month at the Metropolitano in Madrid.
But no matter who wins the trophy but teams could suffer major setbacks after the high-profile encounter.
As per reports, both Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino have been linked with new jobs once the UCL final concludes with a number of teams wanting to bring them on board.
While both the managers have made it clear that they are very much happy with their present sides, but rumours suggest that if they fail to end the season without a trophy then they could very well be on their way out.
Max Allegri recently suggested that he would be stepping down as head coach of Juventus which means the Old Lady are currently on the lookout for a new boss.
And this is where Liverpool, as well as Spurs, should be worried.
Recent reports have suggested that the Serie A side are keen on bringing in Jurgen Klopp as their new boss next season but if somehow that deal fails to materialize then they would make a move for Pochettino.
Calciomercato reported: “Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly still in the hunt for Jurgen Klopp, who will take his Liverpool side in the UEFA Champions League final against Tottenham.
Managers like Maurizio Sarri and Mauricio Pochettino have been linked with a move to Juve, but Tuttosport say that Klopp’s move to Juventus isn’t quite out of the equation yet.”
If Juventus come calling then it surely be hard for either Jurgen Klopp or Mauricio Pochettino to resist a move but some experts feel that the whole scenario depends on how the Champions League final pans out.
Both teams have been trophyless for a number of seasons now and if they feel to win the UCL final then surely it would be a serious blow for them.
So, in theory, whichever manager guides their team to victory at the Metropolitano next month should remain back at their respective club while the losing one might have some hard decisions to make about their personal future.
