Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League final next month in Madrid.

And everyone is predicting that the Jurgen Klopp led side are the favourites to lift the trophy at the Metropolitano.

Liverpool have been in sensational form this past season having lost only a single game in the Premier League and also picking up some fine wins in Europe.

But despite picking up 97 points in the league, the Anfield outfit fell short by just a single point as Manchester City successfully defended their title.

And speaking before the Champions League final, former Man United manager Jose Mourinho has made a pretty haunting prediction regarding Jurgen Klopp.

Mourinho recently told Sky Sports that in case Liverpool fail to beat Spurs in the Champions League final next month, it could leave a very negative impact on the German manager.

Here’s why.

“Being a manager and understanding what it means for a manager to play a Champions League final, there is always a negative side of it and the negative side is that one team is going to lose it,” Mourinho told Sky Sports(as reported).

“If Jurgen wins, it is an incredible achievement for him, if Jurgen doesn’t win… you know, to lose three Champions League finals has to be really, really hard.

“But in this moment, he is a positive guy and I think he just thinks about winning.”

Last year’s UCL final loss to Real Madrid was a real setback to Jurgen Klopp who worked extra hard last summer in order to fill up the cracks in his squad.

But despite spending a lot of money in the transfer market and performing sensationally this season, Man City were still able to nick the league title.

And there are some fears that Pochettino might also do the same when Spurs and Liverpool meet at the Metropolitano.
