Manchester City youngster Phil Foden is being eyed by Juventus during the next summer transfer window – according to reports.

Phil Foden is currently one of the brightest young talents in the England football circuit and his club manager Pep Guardiola certainly rates him very highly.

So much so that the boss chose not to send Phil Foden out of loan during the current season claiming the midfielder had a role to play for him.

But after a couple of months into the new campaign, Phil Foden is nowhere close to being a first-team regular and most of his performances have come in the non-league competitions.

And it is being believed that Juventus want to use this opportunity to bring Phil Foden to Italy.

Juve’s interest in the youngster is still in its initial stages so no major details are yet available but multiple reports in Italy claim that the Serie A outfit plan to make a move at the end of the season.

Phil Foden is a player with immense talent and Guardiola knows very well that keep him at the Etihad will be a tough job – especially if the midfielder cannot be assured game time.

Right now the Premier League is more of a three-horse race which means Guardiola will never risk playing Phil Foden in the first eleven.

So as things stand, the youngster will only get to play during the domestic cup ties.
