Kieran Tierney has had a really tough life ever since he moved to Arsenal last summer and there’s a chance the 22-year-old might opt to move out at the end of this season.

The left-back has played in on five Premier League matches this season as injuries have constantly kept him on the sidelines which in turn has been a big setback for Mikel Arteta and his defensive plans so far.

Bukayo Saka has played as the make-shift left-back for most of the season and there have been whispers of the Gunners manager looking to get rid of Kieran Tierney in the summer.

Now to add more fuel to the fire, Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones has hinted that Leicester City might come after the former Celtic man if they were to lose Ben Chilwell to Chelsea.

Jones wrote: “They[LCFC] are lining up a load of signings, but almost all are already at the club! James Maddison is their top priority to sign a new contract while prized assets Caglar Soyuncu and Youri Tielemans are seen in a similar light. Talks are ongoing with Ben Chilwell, but he is a target for Chelsea and Man City. Leicester would sell at the right price.

“If Chilwell leaves, their plan—I am told—is to test Arsenal’s resilience by making an offer for Kieran Tierney.”

Can Rodgers lure out Kieran Tierney from Arsenal?

Brendan Rodgers and Kieran Tierney share a really healthy relationship due to their time at Celtic where the pair picked up a lot of silverware together. And maybe this is why the left-back could opt to move out of the Emirates in case his former manager comes calling.

Arsenal paid £25million to Celtic for Tierney but the youngster has failed to live up to the expectations during his first year in the Premier League – picking up one injury after another.

Under normal circumstances, Arteta wouldn’t have hesitated to give the player one more lifeline to prove himself at the club. But this year, the manager will be needing money to bring in a lot of reinforcements for the upcoming season.

So if Bukayok Saka can do a good job in the left-back role, there’s every chance the Gunners boss will not look to cash in on Tierney.

But all this will depend on whether Leicester City will lose Ben Chilwell to Chelsea or not.
