Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker was taken off at half-time during City’s  FA Cup semi-final win against Brighton on Saturday.

And now reports are claiming that the England international could spend a significant amount of time on the sidelines.

Kyle Walker is reportedly picked up a hamstring injury and right now it looks like the right-back will not be facing his former side in the Champions League.

Walker moved to Man City from Spurs in 2017 and since then he has been a key figure for the Citizens in both defence as well as going forward.

During the 2018-19 season, the 28-year-old has played in 43 games for Man City scoring two goals and providing one assist.

After Kyle Walker was taken off on Saturday many believed it was a result of the Jahanbakhsh incident but the manager later confirmed that the substitution was due to a hamstring injury.

Man City take on Spurs in the Champions League quarter-finals first leg this Tuesday and the England international is more or less certain to miss this tie.

Now fresh updates have been provided on Kyle Walker(when this article was written) which means that it will be Danilo who will play as the right-back vs Pochettino’s side.

While Danilo is a pretty apt full-back but going forward Kyle Walker is a much bigger threat and Guardiola will surely miss the 28-year-old’s attacking prowess vs the Lilywhites.
