Arsenal are currently on their pre-season tour in Singapore after which they move to Ireland and then eventually Sweden before wrapping up their tour.

And it is in Stockholm that the Gunners are supposed to meet Lazio in what is their final pre-season game.

And if recent reports are to be believed then Lazio are planning to make a move for Arsenal forward Lucas Perez.

Perez joined the London outfit in 2016 for a fee of £17.1 million but despite that hefty price tag the Spaniard has failed to make any sort of impact at the club.

Last season, Lucas Perez was loaned out to Deportivo where he managed to score just six goals in 32 appearances in the La Liga.

And now that Arsenal have the services of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, Perez’s future at the club is highly uncertain.

Though there have been no major reports of whether Arsenal have any plans to offload him during the summer but if the right offer comes by Unai Emery will surely not hesitate in selling him.

Lucas Perez is hoping to win the trust of the new manager during the pre-season tour but with a number of strikers at his disposal and clubbed with the fact that Emery desperately needs to raise money in order to bring in new signings we feel that all of Perez’s efforts will go down the drain.

A report in the Gazzetta Dello Sport has claimed that Lazio are looking at Lucas Perez as their number one target and the Serie A want to secure the deal before both the clubs meet for a pre-season friendly on the 4th of August.

The report also claims that no official bid has been made yet but Lazio are confident that they can acquire the services of Lucas Perez for a fee of around £6 million.
