Manchester United suffered a minor stumble this week when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Burnley.

United had the opportunity to get out of that sixth spot on the league table but ultimately that wasn’t to be.

Now Solskjaer’s men will travel to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City on Sunday.

Man United news:

Solskjaer is yet to lose a match ever since he took charge of Man United but that could all change this weekend since the Foxes have their tails up after that 1-1 draw vs Liverpool.

The major concern for the Man United boss were with the injuries to Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.

Martial missed the previous game with a late injury while Paul Pogba picked up a knock late into the match.

But now the manager has confirmed that Pogba will be fit to play vs Leicester while Anthony should also be named in the first XI.

We’ve not had a proper session since the game, so hopefully, both of them can get through that, said Solskjaer.

I don’t think there’s anything with Paul. Anthony has done some rehab work, so he will try a session today, so I would imagine he would be available to be involved. He seemed happy yesterday.

Victor Lindelof scored the injury time equaliser vs Burnley in midweek and he will partner Phil Jones in defence. Eric Bailly should remain on the bench while Chris Smalling is still recovering from his injury.

Marouane Fellaini has left the club to join the Chinese Super League but the Belgian international has not featured under Solskjaer anyways so his departure will not cause too much damage.

Andreas Perreira was handed a start vs Burnley but the Brazilian had a poor outing and it is safe to say that Ander Herrera will return back to central midfield alongside Nemanja Matic.

Romelu Lukaku too was handed a start in midweek but with the return of Anthony Martial, the forward will return back to the bench meaning Marcus Rashford will play down the middle once again.

Juan Mata will also move back to the bench making way for Jesse Lingard.
