Liverpool drew their first game of the new season with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea took the lead through an Eden Hazard goal and the Blues looked all set to inflict Liverpool with their first defeat of the season.

But a late strike from Daniel Sturridge saved the blushes of Liverpool as the former Chelsea man helped Jurgen Klopp’s men salvage a point.

Chelsea were by far the superior side during the game and it was their midfield which worked with immense precision to keep the tie in their favour.

Liverpool’s midfield has been good up until now but the trio of Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho really bossed the Merseyside outfit.

And after the game, Liverpool fans have singled out Jordan Henderson for some special criticism as the midfielder was really poor during the game.

Jordan Henderson is known to be a midfielder who constantly wants to pass the ball forward but on Saturday he did the exact opposite and kept going back to his defenders.

And this attitude from the Liverpool captain has gotten on the nerves of the fans who now want Jordan Henderson to be sold.

The Liverpool fans have not only urged their club to sell of Jordan Henderson but have also requested them to bring in an apt replacement.

And going by the recent reports, we can fairly assume that Liverpool are eyeing Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal have reportedly told Aaron Ramsey he is free to leave the club and multiple reports suggest Jurgen Klopp is planning to make a move for him during the January transfer window.

Ramsey would be an ideal replacement for Jordan Henderson given that both of them perform the exact same roles and play in the exact same position in midfield.
