Arsenal manager Unai Emery has brought in a number of new players since his appointment but right now his biggest task is to convince Aaron Ramsey to sign a new deal at the club.

Ramsey has entered the final 12 months of his deal at the club and he is yet to sign a new contract.

Recently Unai Emery had claimed that he is not sure if Aaron Ramsey would stay at the Emirates and this statement came shortly after it was revealed that Arsenal were the favourites to land Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.

If Ramsey does not sign a new deal at the club then it would mean that the Gunners would have to let him leave for free next year and keeping in line with that news multiple sources claimed that the club were planning to offload him this summer.

A number of clubs are said to be interested in signing the Welsh International but during the past couple of days, Liverpool have been tipped as the favourites to land the midfielder.

It was being claimed that the Merseyside outfit wants to sign Aaron Ramsey as a replacement to Nabil Fekir.

But now Daily Mirror journalist David Maddock has claimed that Liverpool are not interested in the transfer of Aaron Ramsey.

And no sooner did this news pop up there have been rumours from the Arsenal camp that manager Unai Emery is pretty sure that Aaron Ramsey will sign a contract extension at the club.

Arsenal now have only a couple of days to offload the midfielder – if he intends to stay in the Premier League that is. But the sad news is, right now not many a team is interested in signing Aaron Ramsey.
