Liverpool are interested in signing Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal – as per the latest reports.
Both Saka and Martinelli have done extremely well for the Gunners this season and it looks like Jurgen Klopp has grown a liking towards the duo.
It’s still unclear as to when Liverpool want to make a move for Saka and Gabriel Martinelli but most of the rumours claim that the duo are unlikely to move out at the end of the current season.
Gabriel Martinelli has been praised a lot by his managers this season and with the amount of faith that Arteta has shown in the youngster, it’s pretty clear that the Brazilian will play a big role for the Gunners during the 2020-21 season.
Also, the teenager is under contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2024 so right now there’s no need to hit the panic button for the North London club.
Bukayo Saka though is a totally different case altogether since the England U19 international is out of contract next year.
And if the latest reports are to be believed then Arsenal are already in the process of handing Saka a new deal at the club which they believe will be accepted without any major roadblocks.
Jurgen Klopp surely has amassed a great team at Liverpool this season but there have been fears that the likes of Mane and Firmino could be on their way out pretty soon.
And maybe this is why the German boss is already planning for the future and it seems like he has started ear-marking the youngsters who could fit under his system at Anfield.
