Liverpool beat Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend and next up they take on Wolves away from home in midweek.

The Reds are yet to lose a game this season in the league and it’s only a matter of time before they pick up their maiden league title but having said that Wolves are a force to reckon with and have a reputation of being giant slayers.

Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in their last 7 matches in the league meaning it will take some doing for Santo’s men to breach the Liverpool defence at Molineux.

The Reds have a really tough outing on Sunday which is why there is every chance that the manager might choose to rest some of his top players in midweek.

Liverpool team news vs Wolves:

Joel Matip has returned back to the fold and was on the bench vs Manchester United and we feel he could get a start in central defence alongside Van Dijk at Molineux.

Dejan Lovren is also making rapid progress but we the defender is not expected to be match-fit for the Wolves game.

Fabinho returned from a long injury lay off as he came off the bench vs United during the weekend and the Brazilian is expected to return back to his defensive midfielder’s duties meaning Henderson should see a change in role vs Wolves.

The return of Fabinho also means Chamberlain should make way as the England international needs a much-deserved rest.

Minamino is yet to make his Premier League debut for Liverpool since arriving at the club earlier this month and there’s a big chance that Klopp chooses to rest Wijnaldum to give Minamino his first league start.

Sadio Mane had an intense outing vs Man United during the weekend and we feel the manager will look to rest him and give Divock Origi a chance to shine vs Wolves.

Firmino and Salah too have fine outings but they did not have too much to do meaning they the duo should retain their place in the starting XI when Liverpool travel to Molineux.
