Rangers FC’s new manager is without a doubt a legend at Liverpool and it seems that the former Red has come to the conclusion that his former team’s players are the best option in order to bring a new era at Ibrox.

Gerrard has already signed John Flanagan from Liverpool and there are also talks that striker Dominic Solanke is set to join the Gers. And now it seems the Rangers boss is planning yet another raid.

According to the latest reports, Rangers are planning a move for Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

Kent, 21 is a youth academy product at Liverpool but has never quite been able to break into the first team squad.

The winger has moved around various clubs in long and short-term loan spell without any major success.

Ryan Kent’s brightest spell was with Burnley where he managed to play 47 games in all competitions but his last spell with Bristol City during the 2017-18 campaign was a total disaster.

He joined the Championship side during the January transfer window of 2018 but managed to play only 11 games – failing to score even once.

And now it seems that Ryan Kent is adamant to make a fresh start to his career under Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.

It is still uncertain if Gerrard wants the player on a loan spell or a permanent deal but one thing is for sure that this week most of the players that have been linked with Rangers are forwards.

Firstly it was striker Umar Sadiq from AS Roma and then reports suggested that the Gers are planning a move for Man City’s Brandon Barker. And now it’s Ryan Kent – yet another winger.
