Luis Suarez has been one of the mainstays at Barcelona but it looks like the South American wants to return back to Liverpool – as per reports.

The forward arrived at the shores of Merseyside in 2011 from Ajax and the Uruguayan was the star at Anfield for the next three years.

But under tremendous pressure, the Reds have to part ways with Luis Suarez back in 2014 and since then he has been plying his trade with the Catalan outfit.

Now though reports are of the view that the player wants to head back to Liverpool once his current deal with Barcelona comes to an end.

The reports claim Suarez is not too happy with life at Camp Nou and is thinking of leaving the club which could very well prompt the club to offload him even before his deal comes to an end.

Luis Suarez has netted 82 goals in 133 games during his time with Barcelona which is no minor feat given that the Uruguayan has been playing alongside some of the best goal scorers in the world of football.

But one major problem which might arise in his possible return back to Merseyside is that the striker is right now 32 years old and even if he leaves as early as next year, he will be 33.

And Jurgen Klopp is known as a manager who likes to use a young squad so theoretically Luis Suarez would not have any place in the German’s squad.

Also right now, Liverpool have a plethora of attackers at their disposal and there are no big transfer rumours regarding the likes of Salah and Firmino.

All said an done right now these are only rumours so there’s no real need for the Barcelona fans to panic.

But one thing is for sure that the Catalans will not eager to provide Luis Suarez with a new deal once his current arrangement with the comes expires in the summer of 2021.
