Paul Pogba has been in the limelight ever since the start of the Premier League season started a couple of months ago. And it seems that the hype around him is not going to die out anytime soon.

First, the midfielder had a major fallout with his manager Jose Mourinho and then reports suggested that he wants to move out of Manchester United as early as the January transfer window.

A number of clubs like Barcelona and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing up the World Cup winner and they plan to make a move for the midfielder in the coming few months.

Whether Paul Pogba will choose to move out of Old Trafford is still a topic of debate but one thing is for sure that the midfielder has been finding his form during the past couple of games.

He played a major role during the games vs Newcastle and Chelsea and was once again on-song during the 2-1 win vs Everton during the weekend.

Paul Pogba opened the scoring from the penalty spot and set up Anthony Martial for the second goal.

But it is the player’s penalty which has been stealing all the headlines on social media.

It was Anthony Martial who won the penalty for United in the first half but the ball was then handed over to Paul Pogba – who decided to take his own sweet time to convert.

Jordan Pickford saved Paul Pogba’s shot only for the midfielder to convert from the penalty spot.

And it was Paul Pogba’s famous run up which has been grabbing all the eyeballs on the internet and the fans on Twitter have decided to start a new hashtag with the name:

“Things You Can Do During Pogba’s Penalty Run Up.”

So, Paul Pogba’s run up to take the penalty was so long that fans claim they could have done a lot of things during that time.

Like one said that he could have gone back to college and completed his degree.

But surely the best tweet came from Paul Pogba’s own teammate Luke Shaw.

Luke Shaw like Paul Pogba had a pretty ordinary season last time around but the left-back has fought and won back the trust of Jose Mourinho – so much so that he was recently rewarded with a new contract.

Hence he decided to celebrate his new deal by aiming a friendly dig at his teammate Paul Pogba.

Replying to the “Things You Can Do During Pogba’s Penalty Run Up.” hashtag on Twitter, Luke Shaw wrote:

“Make a comeback in your career and renew your contract.”

Nicely played, Luke Shaw, nicely played. 😉
