Barcelona brought in Malcom from Bourdeaux last summer but the winger has failed to cement his place in the first XI having played in only 15 La Liga games last season.
Last campaign, all Malcom did was warm the benches at the Nou Camp and it seems like Ernesto Valverde has already made plans to sell him off this summer.
Barca paid around £37 million to sign Malcom and now that Neymar is being linked with a move back to the club, the Catalans are trying to clear up the locker room.
Sports Mole are claiming that Malcom could be heading to the English Premier League next season with both Arsenal and Spurs interested in signing the 22-year-old.
The report claims: “Barcelona winger Malcom has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
“After a big-money move from Bordeaux last summer, Malcom was restricted to just nine starts and 13 substitute appearances in all competitions during the most recent campaign.
“The 22-year-old may be in line for more regular outings next season, but the Brazilian could find himself surplus to requirements if Barcelona secure a reunion with Neymar.
“The Catalan giants are limited to three players who hold a non-EU passport, leaving the possibility of Malcom being sacrificed to accommodate his compatriot.
“According to Diario AS, both Spurs and Arsenal are monitoring the situation at a time when they are both considering additions in the final third.”
TransferMarkt values Malcom at £36 million which is certainly in the prize bracket for Spurs this summer.
But for Arsenal, this might be a bit too much since Unai Emery is working on a very limited transfer budget this summer.
Arsenal will have no other option but to try and secure a loan deal for Malcom for the 2019-20 season with an obligation to buy next summer.
But many experts believe that Malcom will choose to play for Mauricio Pochettino’s side given that the Gunners will be plying their trade in the Europa League next campaign.
