Ousmane Dembele to the Premier League

Liverpool FC are not expected to spend big this summer but recently there has been a huge buzz regarding Ousmane Dembele and his exit from Barcelona.

Ousmane Dembele joined FC Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a staggering fee of €125 million. But the Frenchman is yet to prove his worth at Camp Nou.

His time at the club has been marred by injuries and last season, the forward managed to play in just 42 games for the Catalans.

And now that Neymar is being linked with a return back to Barcelona there have been reports that Barca are looking to offload Ousmane Dembele.

Bayern Munich were said to be the frontrunners in signing the winger but the Bundesliga side have seen a bid rejected which led many to believe that Barca are not interested in selling off Dembele.

Now though it seems like Barcelona have indeed put Ousmane Dembele up for sale but it will be up to the player to decide which club he wants to join.

While the likes of Bayern and PSG hold heavy interest but rumours have it that Liverpool are the frontrunners in signing the 22-year-old if he does choose to vacate his locker room.

Liverpool spent heavily on transfers last year and they are not expected to splash a lot of cash this summer but Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the Frenchman.

So if an opportunity to signing him comes by we doubt if Liverpool boss will let it pass by.

But in order to get their hands on Ousmane Dembele, any interested club will have to break the bank since Barcelona will surely look to recover as much of his €125 million as possible.

While experts are confident that Ousmane Dembele will choose to play under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool but some rumours claim that Barca might try to use him in a swap deal to bring Neymar back the Nou Camp this summer.
