Man City suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Man United on Sunday but they have no time regather their thoughts as next up they welcome Arsenal at home on Wednesday.
The Citizens had the overall control of the match on Sunday but they did very little to trouble De Gea and many pundits believe that this was due to the absence of Kevin De Bruyne.
And speaking ahead of the Gunners’ visit the Man City boss has hinted that the Belgian international could miss out once again.
Apart from De Bruyne, Leroy Sane is also trying to be match-fit quickly and here’s what Guardiola had to say about him.
“Kevin is training but I don’t know if he will be fit for tomorrow,” Guardiola said, in his pre-match press conference.
“He [Sane] is getting better week by week. I am excited to have him back.
Pep Guardiola has confirmed Aymeric Laporte and Kevin De Bruyne are both in training but uncertain for tomorrow's game.#MCIARS | @ManCity

“He is not injured. He is training. There are no issues apart from lack of rhythm, the tempo. He was ready weeks ago.”
Are Man City staring at another defeat?
Man City looked toothless without the presence of Kevin De Bruyne in midfield as they were clearly running short of ideas.
And if the playmaker is absent on Wednesday as well then Guardiola should be gearing up for yet another loss since Arsenal have been finding some form during the past couple of months.
But as per as Leroy Sane’s participation is concerned the manager has managed to work around in the German’s absence meaning the player’s absence shouldn’t be a cause of concern for the Etihad outfit.
