Man United’s season have now officially come to an end and on their final game of the season, the Red Devils hit a new low.

Man United took on Cardiff City at Old Trafford – a team which has been relegated from the top division. And shockingly, Solskjaer’s team went down 2-0.

The Red Devils did manage to open up a number of chances but most of them fell to youngster Mason Greenwood who is still vastly inexperienced infront of goal.

The loss was yet another low point for the club this season and now reports are claiming that there might be a rift between the Man United players inside the dressing room.

This rift is primarily due to Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez – as per reports.

Paul Pogba and Sanchez are currently the two highest earning players at Man United and they receive a bonus every time they score a goal.

And reportedly the other players are not too happy with this arrangement.

Sanchez gets £75,000 while Pogba gets an extra £50,000[both weekly] after they score each goal but the other players do not have any sort of similar clause in their contract.

A source told The Sun: “The real problem is the incentive plan.

“It has caused a lot of animosity and is as responsible for the lack of the recent failure of team spirit as anything else.”

Now that Man United have failed to qualify for the Champions League, the players will have to take a hefty pay cut for the upcoming season.

And some rumours claim that a handful of players might not be too happy with this and might try to force a way out of the club during the summer transfer window.
