Man United have been on a roll since the 2019-20 season restarted and on Saturday, they beat Bournemouth 5-2 at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
The Red Devils went 1-0 down pretty early on in the first half vs the Cherries but they showed character and determination to roll the dice around and take control of the game.
Greenwood, Rashford, Martial and Bruno Fernandes all got their names on the scoresheet and with the way they have been performing, Paul Scholes thinks his former side will be able to finish in the top-four this season.
“I think they will,” he told BBC Sport, as per the Daily Star. “They are going to have to win every game to do it but you look at the fixtures they are very winnable.
“If Ole can keep this team fit, the first 11 that played the other night, I don’t see a reason why not.
“I don’t think the squad is massively strong where he can leave players out and afford to give people a rest for the FA Cup or the Europa League as it was.
“He needs to play his best team from now until the end of the season I think they’ll have a great chance.”
Ever since Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have started playing together, things have totally turned around for Man United and they finally look like a team on the rise.
Solskjaer still needs to do a lot of patchwork to his first-team squad but with the way the OT outfit have been playing not only do they have the chance of finishing in the top-four but they might also end the season by winning a few silverwares.
Next up, Man United hit the road to take on Aston Villa on Thursday away from home.
