Manchester United battled all odds this week to pick up three points vs Crystal Palace away from home and next up they welcome Southampton at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer had close to a dozen injuries going into the Palace game but the Red Devils made it look awfully easy.

The Norwegian had set up a makeshift team on Wednesday but the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Pogba made sure that there were no roadblocks during the match.

Man United news:

Solskjaer has made it clear that most of the players who missed the game vs Palace will not be fit for the Southampton clash too which means that the first XI this weekend could see very little changes.

Marcus Rashford though is fully fit and the manager is looking to hand him a start which means Diogo Dalot could drop down to the bench.

Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford should be the three attackers vs the Saints and it could be the England international who gets to play down the middle.

Fred got a rare start in midweek but the summer signing once again failed to impress and this Saturday he could make way for Andreas Pereira who gets to play alongside Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay in midfield.

The back line should remain unchanged with David De Gea in front of goal.
