Man United beat Spurs at Wembley this Sunday meaning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to lose a game ever since he took charge of Man United last month.

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game and if recent reports are anything to go by then this season could be the English international’s breakthrough one.

Rashford has been in sublime form ever since Solskjaer has taken charge of the club and the Norwegian has chosen to use the academy graduate as his lone front man.

And according to Jim White, the manager has made the decision to use Marcus Rashford as his main front man until the end of the season.

“The Marcus Rashford goal yesterday came straight off the training pitch,” White said on talkSPORT(as reported).

“They’ve been hitting Rashford on the diagonal over and over and over again in practice.

“This is what I hear.

“They have been hitting Rashford on the diagonal time and time again in practice.

“That suggests Ole prefers Rashford to the mobility of Lukaku.”

This clearly means Romelu Lukaku will become the second choice striker and we have seen evidence of that under the caretaker boss.

Despite scoring a couple of goals after coming off the bench, Solskjaer has obviously preferred using Marcus Rashford as his first choice striker.

Romelu Lukaku has always come on as a second-half substitute and if Jim White is correct then this tactic will be deployed until the end of the season.

Manchester United take on Brighton next Saturday in the Premier League and the manager might very well choose to rest Marcus Rashford for the game given they will take on Arsenal in the FA Cup the following weekend.
