Man United take on Watford at home this weekend in the Premier League and this will be the first game in charge of Solskjaer after he was named the permanent boss.

Right now, United are fifth on the league table with 58 points and win would take them back into the top-four for atleast two days.

Arsenal take on Newcastle United on Monday and if the Gunners fail to pick up a win vs Rafa Benitez’s side then Man United would be able to hold onto their position.

Man United news vs Watford:

Man United had perhaps the biggest injury list during the international break but thankfully most of the players have recovered well and should be available for selection on Saturday.

Luke Shaw was suffering from a knock but the left-back has gotten back into full training and will most certainly start vs Watford in a four-man defensive line alongside Lindelof, Smalling and Ashley Young.

Nemanja Matic was also carrying a slight injury niggle but the midfielder is expected to be named in the first XI alongside Ander Herrera who has also recovered from his hamstring injury.

Paul Pogba will play his usual role in an advanced midfield role.

Both Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford did not play for England during the international break and the duo are scheduled to start in the attacking third for Man United at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial had also been carrying a knock but the Frenchman is fit and will be named in the first XI more so since Alexis Sanchez is out with an injury.

Romelu Lukaku had been playing with an injury for the past couple of weeks and finally, it seems to have caught up with him.

The Belgian international is expected to be out for some time and reports suggest he is now facing a race against time to be fit before Man United’s Champions League clash vs Barcelona.
