Jose Mourinho tactics to be used in the FA Cup final?

Man United picked up yet another win against their noisy neighbours this season, this time beating them 2-0 at home in the Premier League.

Anthony Martial gave Man United a 30th-minute lead which they held onto for almost all of the match and then it was Scott McTominay who added the second deep into injury time.

This win means the Red Devils maintain the pressure on Chelsea in the race to finish fourth on the league table and after the Derby win, they are just three points off that elusive final Champions League spot.

But speaking after the game, Roy Keane has admitted the despite this massive win, Man United will have no time to rest since they need to back up this big win yet another three points in order to maintain the momentum.

“I’ve been critical of some of the players. But people like [Luke] Shaw and [Anthony] Martial, you know, they’ve done well today. I have to give credit for that,” Keane said, as quoted.

“And it’s a big boost for Ole for a number of reasons. I think United had to win a big game at home sometime.

“It’s okay away from home on the counter-attack, but it’s Manchester United, we have to win big games at home.

“The atmosphere around the place is fantastic and Ole and the players deserve huge credit.

“But of course now, I keep saying, when you get a big win, you’ve gotta follow it up, Tottenham next week, with another victory.”

Spurs vs Man United – a nail biter?

Next up, Man United travel to London in order to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the league and this match will be a key game in the context of the top-four race.

The last time, these two sides met in the league was back in December and it was United who won that match 2-1 thanks to a brace from Marcus Rashford.

Now going into this match, Spurs are 8th on the league table – four points behind Solskjaer’s men meaning if they were to lose then they can kiss their Champions League hopes goodbye.

While on paper this should be an even contest but we have a feeling that Man United should come out on top once again because the Lilywhites are winless in their last three league matches and on top of that they play against Leipzig in midweek.
