Man United are currently 7th on the Premier League table with 13 points and next up they travel to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday in order to take on AFC Bournemouth.

United have dropped points in four out of their last five league matches but picking up wins in the Europa League, against Norwich and most recently against Chelsea would have surely given a boost to their confidence.

Bournemouth surprisingly are level on points with Man United but Eddie Howe’s men have not picked up a win in their past four league games and this is why we don’t feel they will be able to stop Man United from walking away from all three points.

Man United news vs Bournemouth:

Man United more than half a dozen injuries going into this match but it looks like Solskjaer has adjusted well without some of his star players and has managed to set up a team which can work efficiently.

Paul Pogba has been ruled out until December while Nemanja Matic is also not expected to be fit which means Fred will once again start in central midfield alongside McTominay.

Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford both picked up knocks during the win vs Chelsea in the Carabao Cup but the manager has claimed that they should be fit to play the Bournemouth vs Man United game on Saturday.

“We’re playing football, it’s not basketball,” Solskjaer said(as reported by MEN).

“Some of them are sore but you should be absolutely down on your knees because it’s worth it. But they’re quick healers and hopefully, they’ll be ready for Saturday.”

This confirmation means Maguire will start in central defence alongside Victor Lindelof while Rashford will play upfront – possibly down the left flank.

Luke Shaw is making a good recovery but we don’t think the left-back will be fit enough to be named in the matchday squad on Saturday which means Ashley Young will play at left-back while Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays on the right.

Andreas Periera has found decent form during the past couple of weeks especially when playing down the middle of the pitch and he might be deployed in the same role just playing behind Anthony Martial.

Jesse Lingard has been without a goal since January and his performance vs Chelsea was also very average. While Solskjaer clearly favours the England international but he will most certainly drop back to the bench this weekend at the Vitality Stadium.

While the manager would have loved to make a few changes to his first XI since they will be back in Europe next week but with so many injuries, the Norwegian just does not have that luxury.

Man United’s predicted line-up vs Bournemouth:

Starting XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Young; Pereira, McTominay, Fred; Rashford, Martial, James.
