Man United picked up a 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend and next up they take on Watford on Sunday.

The win against the Blues has once again opened up the race for the top-four and given that Watford are languishing at the bottom of the league table, picking up a win against them should not be a big cause of concern for the Old Trafford outfit.

The Hornets are winless in their last four league matches and Man United have seen the return of most of their injured players which should give Solskjaer multiple options in each department and hence we feel, the Red Devils should come out of this match with a win and not break a sweat in the process.

Man Utd are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 home matches in the league and barring a stupendous performance by Watford, United should be able to pick up an easy win on Sunday.

Man United team news vs Watford:

David De Gea was rested for United’s 1-1 draw vs Club Brugge on Thursday as Sergio Romero took his place. But the Spaniard should return back to goal on Sunday.

Bailly had an outstanding game against Chelsea in his return and the defender could once again be named in the first XI alongside Harry Maguire.

As Solskjaer plans to move back to a conventional back-four, Brandon Williams could move back to the bench as Luke Shaw plays at left-back and Aaron Wan-Bissaka returns back to the right-back role.

Scott McTominay has returned back to full training but did not feature against Brugge despite a strong possibility. Now though the Man United manager has hinted that the player could be in the matchday squad vs the Hornets meanings there a big chance the Scottish international replaces Nemanja Matic in central midfield.

“I think he might be in the squad,” Solskjaer had said before the Brugge game.

“Scott had a rest day today, so let’s see how he is tomorrow.”

Bruno Fernandes came off the bench on Thursday and made an instant impact and the January signing will surely be in the starting line-up on Sunday.

Daniel James was rested for Man United’s Europa League clash but the Welshman should come into the side vs the Hornets while Anthony Martial keeps his place in the first XI.

Odion Ighalo is yet to get his first start at the club but we think, the manager will not be willing to rush things which is why young Mason Greenwood could get the nod ahead of the Nigerian this weekend.

Man United currently have only two injury concerns, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford and both of them are not expected to return back to action any time soon.

Man United’s predicted Xi vs Watford:

Starting XI: David De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Bailly, Luke Shaw; Fred, Matic/McTominay, Bruno Fernandes; Daniel James, Martial, Ighalo/Greenwood.
