Liverpool picked up a 1-0 win against Norwich City in the Premier League and next up they welcome West Ham United at home on Monday.

The Anfield outfit are yet to lose a game in the league this season but in midweek, they did suffer a 1-0 loss at the hands of Atletico Madrid in the Champions League meaning their ego will surely have taken a blow.

And this would mean that Klopp’s men will come out all guns blazing when they take on West Ham United on Monday and this is surely a bad sign for the Hammers and their quest to move out of the relegation zone.

The Liverpool boss has more or less a fit squad and is expected to name his strongest XI on Monday so that he can wrap up the league as early as possible.

Liverpool team news vs West Ham United:

Van Dijk and Joe Gomez played in central defence against Atletico and the pair should once again take centre-stage this weekend against the Hammers.

Both of Liverpool’s full-backs were particularly poor in midweek and will be eager to make a statement of intent by putting in a fine shift during the weekend.

Fabinho has reclaimed his place in the defensive midfielder’s role after returning back from injury but some rumours claim the Brazilian could be rested for the West Ham United clash.

While the manager could opt to make this change since he has James Milner at his disposal but Klopp will be keen to wrap up the title race as soon as possible which is why we think he will not be resting Fabinho and neither Wijnaldum.

Jordan Henderson though picked up a hamstring injury against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night and the Liverpool captain could be left out of the matchday squad this weekend.

The likes of Naby Keita, Minamino and Chamberlain will all be fighting for this one spot in the midfield area and it will be interesting to see as to who the manager chooses to use.

The front-three for Liverpool practically selects themselves for the weekend with Firmino playing upfront while Sadio Mane and Mo Salah play on the flanks.

Mane was substituted by Divock Origi in the second half vs Atletico Madrid but the winger has not sustained any injuries meaning he is fit and ready to play against West Ham United.

Update:

Jordan Henderson has been ruled out with a hamstring injury as the manager has confirmed that the player will be out of action for the next three weeks.

Liverpool’s predicted line-up vs West Ham:

Starting line-up: Alisson Becker; Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold; Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Chamberlain/Naby Keita; Mane, Firmino, Salah.
