Manchester United are currently in a turmoil and reports claim that Ole Gunnar Solskajer has marked Christian Eriksen as his biggest target for the summer transfer window.

Eriksen joined Spurs from Ajax in 2013 and during the past couple of seasons, the Danish international has been the mainstay for the Spurs midfield under Mauricio Pochettino.

The 27-year-old has provided the creative spark in the Lilywhites midfield and despite failing to sign a single player this season, Pochettino has been riding well on the creativeness of Christian Eriksen.

Man United have seen a slump in form during the past couple of weeks and it more or less certain that Solskjaer is planning a major overhaul during the summer transfer window.

A lot of the players from the current bunch are expected to be sold and rumours have it that the Man United boss wants to build his new team around Christian Eriksen.

The 27-year-old is out of contract next year but Pochettino has made it clear that he is open to sit down and discuss a new deal with the player.

But the manager is fully aware of the attention that Christian Eriksen has been grabbing this season and multiple reports are of the view that Daniel Levy will find it really hard to keep hold of him beyond the summer.

Apart from Man United, Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the player and given that Spurs are in need of finances after building their new stadium, both these interested clubs know for a fact that a good bid will surely entice Spurs into selling Eriksen.

As per the latest reports, Spurs want somewhere in the region of £60 million for the midfielder which in current times is an absolute steal.

So far this season, the 27-year-old has 32 league games scoring seven goals and providing 12 assists and surely he is the creative spark that Man United need to unlock defences – something which they have found really difficult to do during the past couple of years.

But right now the biggest problem for Solskjaer is the fact that Real Madrid are also interested in Eriksen and Zinedine Zidane will surely now shy away from making an absurd bid in order to sign the midfielder.
