West Ham United have finally made a decision on Marko Arnautovic’s long-term future at the club.

A Chinese Super League club had shown interest in signing the forward this month and even the player had harboured hopes of leaving the London Stadium

That deal is now reportedly off which seems to have disgruntled Marko Arnautovic.

Reports suggest that the Austrian international is not happy that the club is blocking his exit from the London Stadium and rumours also have it that the forward might go on strike if West Ham do not change their stances.

The Hammers though have made it clear that they will not let Marko Arnautovic leave the club this month – even if he chooses to go on a strike.

The forward is one of the best players in the current squad and Manuel Pellegrini surely cannot lose him during such a crucial period.

After an initial hiccup, the Hammers have finally found some stability in the league and Marko Arnautovic has had a huge role to play in that.

But West Ham though also do not want things to turn sour between them and the player and hence will let the forward leave during the summer transfer window.

Marko Arnautovic is under contract at the London club until 2022 so West Ham have no reason to hit the panic button.

But we feel that the management have come to the conclusion that they will be able to squeeze out more money from selling off Marko Arnautovic at the end of the end of the season.
