Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri might have had a really poor first season with Chelsea but he did end the campaign with a silverware.

Chelsea beat Arsenal in the Europa League final and with that everyone hopes that the Italian had managed to save his job at the club.

Surprisingly though, reports are claiming that Sarri himself has requested to leave the Blues this summer as he eyes the manager’s chair at Juventus.

Juventus parted ways Max Allegri a couple of days ago and now it is being claimed that the Turin based outfit wants to bring in Maurizio Sarri as a replacement.

A statement on Juventus’ website read: “Massimiliano Allegri will not sit on the Juventus bench in the 2019/2020 season.

“The coach and the president, Andrea Agnelli, will meet the media together at the press conference, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday 18 May, at 2 pm in the conference hall of the Allianz Stadium.”

Obviously, this is an offer which will be hard to resist for the current Chelsea boss more so when Juve are willing to accept each one of his demands.

Recent reports have suggested that Sarri wants to bring in Andrea Pirlo as part of his technical staff if he joins Juventus and it looks like the Serie A side have obliged.

Calcio Mercato are reporting: “The former Juve and Milan player has had direct contact with the Bianconeri because Maurizio Sarri wants him to coach the Under 23 team Primavera side or as part of his technical staff.

“Sarri is widely expected to take over from Max Allegri before the start of the next season after the latter left the club despite guiding the team to 5 consecutive Serie A title.”

This will surely be a huge boost to Maurizio Sarri and his hopes of returning back to Italy but it looks like Chelsea had been preparing for the worst for some time now.

It is being suggested that the Blues are planning to bring in Max Allegri as a replacement for Maurizio Sarri in case the current boss heads out to Juventus.
