Both Arsenal and Liverpool are currently in the market looking for a new centre-forward and if reports are to be believed then they have made contact with Moussa Dembele.
Moussa Dembele currently joined Lyon from Celtic last summer and within just a single season in France, the forward has made a real impact.
During the 2018-19 season, Moussa Dembele played in 52 games across all competitions for Lyon scoring 24 goals.
And now it looks like he might be heading to England this summer.
Arsenal have released Danny Welbeck while Liverpool have let go of Daniel Sturridge – both as free agents, hence these two clubs currently are in need of a new centre-forward.
The Gunners currently have Aubameyang and Lacazette as their first choice strikers so we are not quite sure where Moussa Dembele will fit in.
But if the 22-year-old were to join, Liverpool then surely he might have a fair chance of playing regular football.
Liverpool have let go off Sturridge and on top of that Roberto Firmino has not been in great form during the 2018-19 season. And some rumours have suggested that Jurgen Klopp will try and strengthen his attacking line up during the summer transfer window.
Celtic sold off Moussa Dembele for £19.8 million and if Moussa Dembele were to join a Premier League club then the Glasgow outfit will surely get a percentage of the sale price.
But we do not see the forward leaving Lyon during the summer transfer window.
Lyon finished third on the Ligue 1 table last season which means they will be playing in the Champions League qualifiers and if they can manage to get back into the top-tier of European football then surely Moussa Dembele will be of utmost importance.
