Liverpool are set to take on Huddersfield this Saturday and the fans are sweating over Mo Salah’s injury.

Mo Salah picked up a hamstring injury during the international break and initial reports claimed the forward will be out for a long time.

At first, it was the Egyptian had suffered a torn hamstring but not the fans have calmed down after news that Mo Salah’s injury is not as serious as it was first thought.

The forward though still remains a doubt for the game against Huddersfield and we feel that Jurgen Klopp has been handed a huge boost.

Salah was the best player in the Premier League last season but the Egyptian has not been able to emulate that form this year.

Mo Salah has made a pretty average start to the new season and many pundits are already branding him as a one season wonder.

Even some Liverpool have been urging Jurgen Klopp to drop Mo Salah but the German manager up until now has not been able to make that tough call.

Now though Mo Salah’s injury means summer signing Xherdan Shaqiri will get a chance in the first eleven and if the Swiss can come up with a good performance, Mo Salah’s guaranteed first team spot could very well be in a fix.

Since Mo Salah’s injury in the Champions League final last season the forward has not been quite the same and some even blame that his urgency to play for Egypt in the World Cup is the primary reasons why he has not been able to recover fully.

But whatever may the reason be, the fact of the matter is that Mo Salah has been poor this season and now with his injury, the manager has the perfect opportunity to drop him to the bench.
