Manchester United drew their game against Valencia in the Champions League 0-0 and with that the die-hard fans of the club are slowly turning against their manager.

After the final whistle, some fans inside Old Trafford chose to boo off the players and the manager which reflects a growing frustration amongst the faithful.

But this lack of sympathy for the manager had been building up amongst the fans right before the Valencia clash.

Manchester United suffered a defeat at the hands of West Ham last weekend after which the manager chose to lash out on his players – something which he always does.

Jose Mourinho chose some rather harsh words while describing his team’s performances for the match day programme on Tuesday.

“All of my life, I have followed certain golden rules,” wrote Mourinho.

“One of them is that a team can lose matches – that is just a part of football – but the team must never, ever lose its dignity.

“The team must fight, work, compete, win duels, be humble, and then at the end of the game every player must be exhausted because of the hard work they have given for the club, for the fans and for each other.

“That leads to another pair of golden rules which must be followed: the team is always more important than the individual and the crest on the chest is more important than the name on the back of the shirt. This is me. This is how I work. This is what I ask of my team, my group, my club.”

A couple of weeks ago, Jose Mourinho chose to denounce the board which was a clever plan to bring the fans on his side and now he tried to do the same by bashing his players.

Unfortunately though, this time the fans have seen through the cunning plans of Jose Mourinho and are no longer willing to support him through his endeavours.

The United board are reportedly in talks with Zinedine Zidane and are now waiting for the former Real Madrid boss to make up his mind. Once Zidane agrees to become the next Man United manager, reports claim, Jose Mourinho will be sacked immediately.
