Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was shown the door at the club on Tuesday and one club who can be happy with this move are West Ham United.

No, the management of West Ham United at not looking at Jose Mourinho as their next possible manager but with United sacking the Portuguese, the Hammers will have a tension free January transfer window.

West Ham United have been making some great progress during the past couple of months and they have no managed to move into the top half of the table after having spent the first couple of weeks of the season in the relegation zone.

And now that Jose Mourinho is no longer the manager at United, the Hammer might be able to hold onto their striker Marko Arnautovic.

The Red Devils made a move for the striker during the summer transfer window but somehow the move did not materialize and there were reports that Jose Mourinho would once again come back for him at the start of the new year.

Marko Arnautovic is currently injured but Jose Mourinho was expected to make a bid for him anyway given the manager was a huge admirer of the Austrian.

But now with Mourinho out of Manchester United, the Red Devils are no longer expected to pursue Marko Arnautovic during the January transfer window.

If Man United bring in an interim manager then we doubt the club will sanction any big money moves during the middle of the season and if they do manage to find a long-term replacement then the new boss will most certainly bring his own shopping list.

West Ham United’s darling striker was key for the team last season when he single-handedly brought them back to safety after making a poor start to the season.

And his season too he has been working his magic for West Ham United having already scored nine goals this season with five of them coming in the Premier League.
